I always used to watch the six million dollar man ---- Steve Austin - a man barely alive - We can rebuild him, we have the technology
The A team was pure comedy though, a van would get him several thousands times with bullets, get blown up and then the baddies would all walk out unscathed.
I love it when a plan comes together |

Yep, Mr Lilicrap also presented the one with Hedgehog and Mole (who always got strung up by the tent ropes). I will rack my brains on that one.
Cheers,

| | | Re: Your favorite kiddies programme... Right, Jez and Chris,
THE PLAYBOARD Puppet Theatre did many things (most famously BUTTON MOON), but started off on Sunday morning BBC1 with this effort. PLAYBOARD featured a Mole and a Hedgehog (Mo and Hedge respectively). The story involved the pair trudging through miles of fake turf (puppeteers operated them from gulleys below) to get to a circus/funfair tent, watch an act, then go home again.
Cheers,

Paint along with Nancy - now she could wield a palette knife.
Dr. Snuggles
and for many more, TV Cream

Just came to me! It was part of Whirlygig with Humphrey lestoq ( or something like that )
It was the best kids show on telly ( probably the only kids show on telly !! ) | I remember Humphrey Lestocq on Whirlygig (with Mr Turnip) and his favourite saying was "Goodygoody gumdrops" (innocent days!) What about The Cisco Kid (The Robin Hood of the Wild West) with his sidekick Pancho or Renfrew of the Mounties? I could only watch Renfrew through a crack in the door because it was so scary! And as for REALLY scary what about Journey into Space on the radio? |

Adam | My ma once saw Alan Rothwell at a bus stop in our village in the 1970s. Good eh!
I'd love to see some repeats of 'Paint Along With Nancy', though Bob Ross seems to be stealing her thunder a bit these days.
"Sword of Omens, give me sight beyond sight" (I'm sorry, I can't help saying this, this thread has really got under my skin).
