And like you, I was going to mention Captain Pugwash as a favourite. Along with Noggin the Nog (mentioned by Tormentil), which I can only just vaguely remember but I know I loved it.
Of course, I'm a little too old to watch children programmes nowadays, but apparently 'Arthur' is very good - his little sister DW is hilarious. So I'm told, anyway, obviously I wouldn't watch it myself, no, no of course not ... |

| | | Re: Your favorite kiddies programme... when i was a kid i used to watch postman pat religiously, as well as re-runs of the original pink panther cartoons, but my favourites were dungeons and dragons and ulysses 31. when i got to about 18 they started showing repeats of the wombles and the clangers late night and i got hooked on them as well.
best one of all though was the tony hart show with the morph cartoons!

I used to love a lot of the already mentioned programs too, especially Double Deckers, Casey Jones and definately White Horses.
My other favourites were Pipkins, The Flashing Blade (must have been something to do with all those subtitles!), Dodo.....the kid from out-a-space and my All Time Favourite - Barnaby.
hmmmm...What lovely memories!! |
