Idioms and Phrases

As its raining Cats and Dogs at the moment ..there are lots more
Idioms out there here are a few i can remember...how about you

1. Blind as a Bat
2. As cool as a cucumber
3. White as Snow
4. Hards as Nails
5. All bark and no bite
6. All fingers and thumbs
7. Two peas in a pod
8. All hell broke loose

Can you put the origins of the phrases along side, if you know them, just for interest.

Fed up - Used in Falconry, if the birds are given to much food in training they won’t respond because there fed up.
