A couple of pix to show the difficulty of photographing the Mandarins at Blackbrook this Autumn, these were taken from the only practical public vantage point

Crumbs! There's a big difference isn't there! It's surprising how all the rain we had back in spring evaporated during what amounted to a relatively poor summer. Is this a normal occurence in the area you show or has it been particularly bad this year? Has there been any extraction from the area?

wow just goes to proove things are not looking good,one place flooded out the other loosing it,dont make sence dose it.

Sorry I should have made it clear that it was drained purposely to allow work to be carried out around the margins, but the amount of water running out added considderaby to the flooding further downstream as you can immagine.
