Can I recommend a Book (Johnny Kingdom)

Just bought a copy of Johnny Kingdom's biography "A Life on Exmoor". Only picked it up and Monday and hardly put it down until I finished it last night. What a beautiful story of a humble upbringing in rural Devon - poaching with his father just to help keep the family fed and make a "few bob". Tales of his national service, winning his childhood sweetheart, tragedies and triumphs that have led to the Johnny Kingdom we now see on TV. Some pages had me laughing out loud, whilst others had me reaching for the tissues.

I'd highly recommend this great read to anyone, even those without a interest in wildlife. Well worth a look.
