| | | Re: Crop Circles I have not seen any recently, but watched with great interest as a field of long "blue"
grass suddenly started to flatten and swirl in places but adjacent areas moved only
slightly (if at all),some sort of local air currents I assume
I like the alien idea but admire the minds of the more likley culprits

Could it be that some local chaps after a few pints (not too many) just want to get their work spread over the fields and the local news..
There are too many questions here to be asked..

| | | Re: Crop Circles Never seen one personally, but I'm thinking that someone with enough knowledge of CAD or a similar system could design a program to create a pattern and then create the instructions on how to form a "crop circle" by using whatever tool they use to flatten the crop. After all if we can program a computer to play chess I'm sure this is possible.
Also some of the photos must be fake?
However it would be great if ET was responsible.

| | | Re: Crop Circles Love them as we all do but surely the whole crop circle phenomena was debunked donkeys years ago???. i thought it was well known they were well planned intricate man made affairs using such tools as a central post with a rope attached for the basic "circle" type..walking in circles to knock down the sward and gradully working closer to the centre etc... I have seen many serious documentaries explaining the myth away? I thought the only "believer" still alive was that guy from the Kinks...ray davies is it?...and he probably done too many drugs in his past to not believe lol

| | | Re: Crop Circles Hi dan,
Yep I've read how and seen photo's of them being made as well, it's very strange but people in caravans turn up selling souvenires very shortly after they've appeared, perhaps they make a living out of it.
Max.

I thought it was the wonderfully named Reg Presley of The Troggs, who spent some of the money he got when Wet Wet Wet had a hit with a cover of Love is all around on 'researching' crop circles.
Anyway, I suspect they're often the work of the local Young Farmers. |

Paul | I use CAD every day at work. If a member wanted a particular shape with dimensions etc, I'd consider doing it for them. But, they'd have to convince me they'd got permission, or owned the crops, as, at the end of the day, it seems to me that the practice amounts to criminal damage.
What do the farmers think? Are they happy about it.
My Trainee at work reckons that the Paladians do it ! The Paladians leave college at 78 and live to be 1000 years old. They visit us on a regular basis, but we don't know about it........
..... can you see why I'm cracking up !! He really believes it
Is there anyone out there ???
