How Ironic . . . as the song goes . . .

. . . there I was all chuffed to Uncle Joes mint balls at being back in touch . . . but being concerned at losing all my email contacts and adresses (when will I learn to back stuff up?) I was in no rush to post pics from my hols last week in Cornwall. Then - and this is where the irony comes in - this morning I go thro 500 or so shots pick the best, tickle them up for posting and wham - can't upload . . . Tried again this evening but there's - as they say oop here - nowt doin'. Help when someone can get around to it!

T'other bit of good news was being told how to find the bthomepage so that I could log on with my old password and address and - low and behold - 171 emails dropped in . . . ha ha ha ARGHHH! Well I wanted it - so I've got it and its grand really cos its given me another 12 or so lost contacts - every cloud and all that!

You do talk funny on the other side of the hills but it's good to have you back. Look forward to the pictures .... one day ...
Yes, the intenet can be a bind but I suspect that most of us would feel deprived without it!
Cheers, Paul
PS: only 171 e-mails - I get those after a couple of days away but I've never taken up most of the offers ....

Hiya Paul

Personally I feel there isn't that much difference between Lancashire and Yorkshire speech - its all good northern stuff but tell me - I get constantly mistaken for a Yorks person when in other parts of the country - good job I'm a non-believer in all that wars of the roses stuff - some of my best mates have come from t'other side - but do you get taken for a Lancastrian when elsewhere?

And ta - its great to be back

Pauline
