| | | Measurements I have noticed a good few posts with pictures where photographer describe flowers, grasses measurements in millimeters, centimeters etc, but not in feet and inches. I believe that Britain can now keep it's imperial measures so could people out there use both as I am fed up getting my tape measure out to convert one to the other. Being in my fifties I was educated in feet and inches but my son in mm and cc so neither really knows what the other is on about. Mind you he does know what a pint is |

| | | Re: Measurements It gets confusing doesn't it. If I measure something it's always in metric as that is what's on my tape measures - but if I have to guess something it's always in imperial measurements. My kids use metric anyway and living in Holland its metric, but old habbits die hard. The strange thing is I always think in kilo's where weight is concerned now I think about it, and always ask my husband "what's that in miles" when we are talking distances. Now am really confused. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
