| | | Just lovely I have this piece of kit at present http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/pr...dt1&l=en&s=bsd
As well as watching DVD's at 6 foot by 8 foot I have been gaming and have tonight looked at the gallery at supersize. Fantastic. Who needs a plasma when one of these beauties is so versatile? |

As Glsammy says, you can take it anywhere, but its not leaving my house for a long while. |

I recognise that Robin do you have the owners permission to use it
So it was you that got Stu to increase the image size for Plasma displays?
BTW I don't seem to have your address Boddie

He used Powerpoint to control his slide/image show. With a bit of imagination you could do a lot couldn't you! |

There is an easy way to set up a random slideshow, (assuming your laptop is running xp), right click on the desktop, go to screensaver, click use contents of folder, go to browse and select your folder of photos, set the time to powerdown to indefinite (or turn off the sleep mode), then simply leave the laptop to kick in the screensaver - as the Digi projector shows anything which is on your PC screen voila you have a random slideshow, much easier than powerpoint. |

I now have the projector full time as I am the current presentation guru in my team. If I had 2.5K to blow on a plasma I would definitely buy one of these instead, not that this is going back in a while as I have too many DVD's to get through. I have some tasty Harman Kardon speakers too so the Reservoir Dogs have never looked so menacing and sounded so aggressive.
Fantastic |
