| | Useless facts I'm one of those sad people who have a mind full of useless facts. They can really kill a conversation or start one up. So heres a few of mine.
Did you know that a ducks quack doesn't echo and nobody knows why.
Did you know that a cow can go upstairs but not down.
Did you know that the planet Venus spins in the opposite direction to the rest of the planets.
I'm trying to do wildlife facts so that I don't get chucked off the board.
A 2 glasses of red, Sunday PM ww Cheers |

| | | Re: Useless facts Well I think it must be true about the cows. On C beebies, when Blue cow gets into the double decker bus, she never goes to the upper deck, because if she did, she would not be able to get down again.................Jon (really hoping someone out there has young kids too) |

| | | Re: Useless facts They tested the ducks quack myth on Mythbusters (Discovery Channel), quacks do echo.
I've seen cows cross large drainage ditches and go up and down steep loading ramps to trailers, but I suppose it depends on how steep the stairs are.

I have seen cows walk down stairs/steps and as long as they are allowed to do it at their own pace they seem to manage it fine! - sorry to be a party pooper |
