| | Jose Mourinho Gone Woke up this morning to be told Chelsea have got rid of Jose
Rumours are that it is
1) Because of Chelsea's poor start to season
2) Roman Abramovich refuses to spend any more money!!
3) Jose fell out bigtime with John Terry
4) Chelsea say it is by Mutual Consent !!!!!
Apparently possible successor could be Martin Jol from Tottenham !
As much as i dont like Chelsea or some of the things Jose has done.. I think this is a big mistake... Jose is the sort of manager clubs need.. infact.....
JOSE FOR ENGLAND MANAGER the ideal person for the job.. Then we would win something

| | | Re: Jose Mourinho Gone Couldnt beleive it this morning, "The special one" gone, but in hindsight I can see why. 5th in the league, loosing to Villa and 2 draws. The pressure is enormous. Have been a Chelsea fan all my life (born there) and Jose has done us proud.
Martin Jole from Spurs? Hope not.
Good luck Jose and even better luck to Chelsea.

| | | Re: Jose Mourinho Gone While probaly not the most popular manager with none chealsea (and glory seeking ) fans, he was certainly entertaining - with his rants about perfectly viable refereeing decisions of oppostion tactics and times that when he was talking, only he (or maybe not even him) understood what he was on about! Dont think he'll manage England - He ll be of to manage Portugal |

| | | Re: Jose Mourinho Gone I think Chelsea have made a big big mistake, especially this early in the season and assume that it is to do with his relationship with Roman Abramovich. The man's been a success wherever he has been and Chelsea only started to win titles and cups when he arrived. Who out there is better qualified to replace him?
He is also entertaining, charismatic and a reporters dream, and as a Liverpool supporter I am more than happy he is gone as we have a much better chance of lifting the title now |

Chelsea announced that director of football Avram Grant and assistant manager Steve Clarke will take charge of the first team.

jen xxx | sorry but firstly why is it that they blame the manager for the team being hopeless. I dont follow football much, very little in fact, The ridiculous amount of money that has been spent on chelseas dream team, why are they playing so lousy???, united are not that different either. Has chelsea not achieved anything in the last three seasons that they come to this??
Dont know whats worse, men on horses with hounds chasing some poor Fox, or 22 over paid men chasing a ball making money for some fat guy in the stands?? Quote:

| | | Re: Jose Mourinho Gone I had a BIG when I turned on BBC Breakfast this morning.
As a Red (who does go to the games before anyone says otherwise ), I think Fergie is still the top man .... 25 years plus it is now with countless trophies
Mourinho? ....
Self-confident? .... yes
Arrogant? .... yes
Entertaining personality? .... yes
Will the Premier League and TV miss him? .... yes
A good manager .... not sure .... let's see how he gets on at another club that does not have Chelski's dodgy millions.
Oh and by the way, we would probably have never heard of Mr M if he hadn't won the Champions League with Porto after getting away with a wrongly disallowed goal in the semi final with United at Old Trafford.
Sunday .... bring it on .... Reds 2 Chelski 0
I reckon a mid table finish for Chelski this year .... with Liverpool and Arsenal
Did I say that I had a BIG ?

Vim Jansen signed probably the best celtic player ever, Henrik Larson . So to me it's only a blip on chelsea's history. Deal with it and move on
