Re: Traditional Sunday Lunch

Stuffed! Might of over done the rosemary a bit with the pork but otherwise fantastic, had a go with Cazzies yorkie pud recipe (added an extra egg) and they turned out a treat!

Might have a nap and get ready for the darts final.

Re: Traditional Sunday Lunch

We're having a change this week, there's some home-made bread in the oven and waiting for it is a few different types of cheeses, pickles and chutneys.
My mouth is watering as i type!

Re: Traditional Sunday Lunch

Every winter, when I was little, my mum used to line up all of her seven children for a spoonful of malt, followed by a spoonful of caster oil (Yuk!) and a liberal coating of goose fat applied to the chest and covered in brown paper.

Nowadays I keep a couple of jars of goose fat in the fridge. Mmm, nothing like it for roast potatoes, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Drool lol.

Re: Traditional Sunday Lunch

What we going for this Sunday then peeps? I've got a lovely rolled loin of pork (nice layer of fat so should crackle a treat!) from Winchesters farmers market in the freezer which might be a goer, only had pork a couple of weeks ago though so not sure.
