| | | Re: Traditional Sunday Lunch Every winter, when I was little, my mum used to line up all of her seven children for a spoonful of malt, followed by a spoonful of caster oil (Yuk!) and a liberal coating of goose fat applied to the chest and covered in brown paper.
Nowadays I keep a couple of jars of goose fat in the fridge. Mmm, nothing like it for roast potatoes, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Drool lol. |
