| | | Sad news I know this is nothing to do with Britain but if there are any birders out there that have ever visited the Coto Donana area of Spain then you may have come across John Butler. He ran Donana tours and I have had the pleasure of meeting him socially on a few occasions and actually booked one of his tours last December.
John was recently diagnosed with Cancer and unfortunately John passed away yesterday. He died peacefully whilst sleeping at 05:10am. His funeral took place today at Coria del Rio
John was a true gentleman and would always put himself out to help and advice you. He will be sadly missed.
Rebecca, his wife, says that she will be honouring all current tour bookings and intends to continue the business in his memory.
My thoughts go out to her and his family.
R.I.P John
