I'm with you there Richard, but with just one exception. On Christmas day I do enjoy Christmas pudding with lots of thick custard (the stuff you can slice) and a dollop of extra thick double cream.

I once had Spotted oeoeoeoe. Didn't like that much! Oh dear it was edited. Good job my name isn't Richard or I'd never get onto the site.

Re: Whats your favourite pudding?

No, solstice pudding should have brandy butter or, even better, rum butter .... and, actually, who needs the pudding?

Re: Whats your favourite pudding?

Rag pudding! With chips and gravy of course.

If I had to choose a sweet one, I'd go for Whinberry pie with cream - berries picked my self of course.

Mmmm, now I'm hungry. Time for dinner!

Re: Whats your favourite pudding?

Wow this is a hard one because i have a really sweet tooth and adore most puddings...
I adore strawberries and clotted cream ( am from devon) Homemade clotted cream Ice cream
But I also love Fresh Rhubarb cooked anyway.. but especially in a crumble.

But i simply hate Bread and butter pudding and Tapioca

Re: Whats your favourite pudding?

It's got to be homemade spotted "richard", made with suet and steamed for a couple of hours in a linen cloth. Nowadays, most spotted "richards" consist of sponge pud, with currants in it, nothing like the real thing, which should be served with sugar and/or custard. Yummy!
