| | | Transylvania Has anyone on here been to Romania, particularly Transylvania? Im off on a field trip for my masters and jsut wondered what wildlife I might come across? |

| | | Re: Transylvania lucky you heading romania. there's loads of wildlife out there. things you might be lucky enough to see include grey wolf, bear and lynx if you head into the carpathians (strongly reccomend it, my mate went there and described it as 'like, wicked'). other wildlife includes a bunch of exciting birds on the danube (link here for birdie info birding facts Birding Resources by the Fat Birder) and there's loads of fun flora to find, but you might be a bit late for that. have fun though!
oh, and contrary to popular belief, garlic doesn't get rid of vamps, take a water pistol and some holy water!
