If I had the money I would buy Slapton!
The weather was exactly as ordered five days of unremmitting sunshine

The sea had an onshore breeze which brought in the shoals of Mackerel,
Garfish and the big predatory Bass. The Ley was host to many waterbirds
and an abundance of LBJ's
The campsite offered up
Rabbits,
Hedgehog and
Badger along with Moths
and Butterflies
The local field centre had a
Noctule Bat as a guest, the stroll from the pub
showed Martins and Swallows along with the fast highflying Noctules, later
the Serotines came out with Daubentons and Pipistrelles and worked the
starlit sky above the camp for longer than I could stay awake (Reel Ale

)
Made a lot of friends on the site and bent their ears with WAB
I tried for photos of my WAB flag but the naughty little zephyrs kept flipping
it over just as I pressed the shutter after a dozen attempts it was time for
a visit to the Black Tower
