photography AND cycling

.... should appeal to someone.

Welcome to the 2007 Tour of Britain, which begins in Crystal Palace on Sunday 9th September.

Following the success of Canon Photography Competition at last year’s race, The Tour of Britain is pleased to announce that the competition will again be running for the 2007 edition of The Tour.

Last year we had thousands of entries to the competition, run in association with our longest running sponsor Canon, which captured all the colour and excitement of The Tour of Britain.

This year you can enter via the gallery section on The Tour of Britain website. You’ll be able to enter one image per stage of the race, with the best ten overall receiving a pair of tickets for The Cycle Show at Earls Court, where they’ll be able to see their work on display.

To find out all about the fantastic prizes available this year, how to enter the competition and all the terms and conditions, visit The Tour of Britain 2007

One of the riders who you’re sure to be looking to snap in action is British sprinter Mark Cavendish. The Manxman is in good form coming into this year’s race having taken eight victories so far this season, including a recent stage win in the ENECO Tour.

Cavendish will be riding his third Tour of Britain, and you can find out more about his wins this season and how he’s done in past Tour’s of Britain The Tour of Britain 2007

If you haven’t yet bought your Official Race Guide, it is now available to buy at a range of locations across the country. They are the following locations:

Condor Cycles in London; Fred Williams Cycles in Wolverhampton; Henry Burton Cycles in Stafford; and Wheelbase in Kendal are the stockists of the programme. You can also buy the guide online at the Wheelbase website Wheelbase - Stavely, Cumbria. Retailer of road and mountain bikes and accessories

And of course you can always buy the guide online Cheap Pro Cycling magazine subscriptions, gifts & offers by MFM

There’s nothing to match the exciting crowd atmosphere as a professional cycling race speeds through a town, so why not get out there and join the crowds as they cheer the riders on? We look forward to seeing you there!

As always the best place to keep up to date with all the news regarding The Tour of Britain is the official website The Tour of Britain 2007

I had the identical thought when I saw the thread title - I'm sure Health&Safety would have something to say about it!

No problem, it's when you try the juggling that you get problems!
