I dont think 1.99 is overpriced when some mags go for the four pound and over mark..

Then again didnt you once have or want a purple LONG WHEELBASE beach buggy? so clearly you know nothing...as a beach buggy must ALWAYS be short wheelbase...long wheelbase ones are just naff and look all wrong....thought everyone knows that?

I'd go with that - although 50 issues at 1.99 equates to 100 notes - and that would buy you several good books most £4 mags are monthly and thus actually equate to only 48 notes per year or 2 good books

and beach buggys should deffo be short wheel base - and preferably based on beetles or minis (old skool) - youre right everyone knows that - also unless your name is tinky winky why would you want one in purple

btw dan there is only one Z in nazi - or am i missing something with your sig ?

Blimey i think thats the third time in 2 days that eeyore has backed me up on something...i need to sit down

I do agree about the hundred notes thing...and if you gave me the hundred that i will spend in a year in one lump sure i would buy a couple books instead...but...im a skint student so i can syphon 1.99 a week out of my college petrol money ...i know its a pants mag...i also know British Wildlife is awesome...but..i like to collect pointless things...so i shall carry on.

And no...its a typo...i shall change it...cheers.

Re: Wildlife of Britain Magazine

some long wheel base are rubbish and so, in fact, are some short wheel bases - there are always exceptions to every rule........

beetle base always preferable and a nice tax exempt one too....

BTW just to slate this magazine a little more, I flipped through one in my local newso - now is it just me, or are the kingfisher photos on here significantly better than in the mag?

Re: Wildlife of Britain Magazine

I'm looking forward to seeing how long this thread is in three years time when the magazine ends and every one is one binder short. I would imagine the price will go up soon as well.

Happy days

Re: Wildlife of Britain Magazine

I am really enjoying this magazine :......the article on the kingfishers was very informative and i learnt quite a few bits of new info ...The piece about the Hedgehogs was brilliant ....although i knew most of it .....i think many people will realise what to do with late babies and the correct food to put out etc ...very impressed for £1.99
