Please check you have the full version of Norton, friends have had it pre-installed and found out to their dismay it's only a trial version, anyway, it'll be interesting to find out how many bugs you need identifying on this site .
Good luck,
Max.

| | | Re: dead computer Computers - love them or loathe them! I do both! I built (from components), my first computer in 1999 with AMD - worked a dream. Upgraded after 3 years - still fine for a couple of years with the same graphics card. Then it refused to start- well, the fan worked but I couldn't get into the bios. Last year at about this time, bought an Aries - Intel inside. Trouble! sounded extremely noisy and rebooted without warning. Also, Word crashed as I was typing up university assignments.. Was sent back for repair - a bit better but still not quite happy. This year, new PC and back to AMD with Vista. Takes a bit of getting used to, but am relatively happy with OpenOffice. Fingers crossed. |

My best friend has just re-formatted and put XP back on his 6 month old Dell, Vista kept crashing.
Good luck again.
