I recently bought a second hand book - 'Wildfowl of the British Isles' by Peter Scott. It was advertised as a first edition (1957) and in good condition. The price ? £3.50 plus just over a pound postage. I bought it as a collecters item as I have a good book collection.
Anyway, the self same book was on sale in the Slimbridge gift shop 3 weeks ago for £20.00 !!
There are 16 colour plates of wildfowl painted by Peter Scott.
The reason I'm telling you is that there is one more copy for sale ( £4.50 ) on the Am*zon site.
I've done a quick photo of it, and if Lincsyellowbelly is looking, the flower book acting as a weight to keep it flat, is the one that myself and Jen are recommending in response to your thread on a wildflower book.
