A Book to Buy

I was in The WORKS yesterday and came across and brought a Book written by 'The Wildlife Trust' called "The Complete Garden Wildlife Book" retailing at £9.99.. The Works are selling it for £2.99
It combines full identification with detailed species profiles of 250 wildlife species common to Britain and Europe.
I would recommend it to anyone interested in wildlife, or just anyone just starting out.

Re: A Book to Buy

I work in a remainders bookshop in Leeds, and I get 33% staff discount, I have picked up loads of books, some on nature and wildlife, among others (we sell Colling nature guides and things like that), I don't have room but can't stop buying just a few more, its great

Oh you have got to believe her when she says she's addicted to this book store. She knows every self, aisle and creak it the ancient floorboards!
Mind you, it is an amazing place. Some of the books are more than a century old and they have that lovely 'old book' smell.

I agree it does look small on the outside but it's a maze of shelves that seem to go on for miles.
