I apprieciate this thread could go on forever with zillions of titles i wouldn't never of heard of, but i thought it would be nice to see what every WAbster is playing. Music is also good for the soul as well as nature. Remember the days of the school yard is now playing- my Favourite. |

| | | Re: What music is playing on your pc Hi Jez (and everybody),
I'm listening to 'Everybody wants to rule the world' by Tears For Fears, although that's not typical (that and 'Shout' are the only two tracks of theirs I've got). I prefer The Be Good Tanyas, Gillian Welch and Richard Thompson (all somewhat obscure, I know).
Only ever bought Cat Stevens' Greatest Hits Album, but thought it was very good. 'Wild World', 'Father and Son' and 'Hard-headed Woman' were my favourites.
I just thought I'd add to this thread because of something that happened earlier today. I was listening to The Band's brilliant version of Bob Dylan's 'I shall be released' while I was reading posts on a bulletin board. At one point they were singing the 'Any day now' bit when I read the exact same word's in somebody's post! Spooky!
Right, I'll go back to mis-identifying my wildflower photos now ...

Sorry, showing my age! (I think Buddy Holly was very good, by the way)
Tempted to start another thread - singers/groups with a wild life or nature connection in their name. For starters: The Beatles (almost), Def Leppard (almost), the Animals, The Hollies (definitely showing my age again!) - and Buddy Holly, obviously! What about Thunderclap Newman?

I usually like to play my favourite music whilst on WAB,
Slipknot, Stone Sour, Foo fighters, Korn, Slayer, Metallica, I'm a self-confessed Metal-Head, if its ear-splittingly loud then I love it
By the way, excellent taste Colinaj (Pink Floyd), classic rock at its very best. |

I do like Classical Music as well, but have yet to try listening to it when here on WAB. Think it would work well though.
