bird of prey centres

Do many of you go to the bird of prey centres around the uk. This is Madelane ...................
She lives at one of the bird of prey centres called the Hawk Conservatory in Andover,

She has eyelashes to die for ..........

Just thought I'd share her with you !!

Keith.

re: bird of prey centres

If you like Bald Eagles, here's one I took 2 weeks ago at The National Bird of Prey Centre at Newent in the Forest of Dean.
They throw a (dead) Rat into a small pool and ......... well you can see what happens next.
If I could have kept a steadier hand I could have got a better shot.

Hi, The first pictures are of Madaline, she's a Secretary Bird. She's from Africa.

The other pictures are of a Bald Eagle. They can weigh from 10 to 15 pounds

Keith.

I was going to say the same as you Cresshead101 never seen such a majestic looking bird and those big eye lashes she has, could make any male secretary bird blush! I'd also like to know by looking at those long legs she has is, does hunt her prey on the ground or from the air?

They play relaxing music and let 4 or 5 Black Kites wheel about in the sky. It's an amazing sight.

Ooops !!!! Just to put the record straight. The last pictures are NOT Madeline from Andover!
They're of 'Treasure' who lives at the National Bird of Prey Centre in Newent . They both do the snake routine.

Keith.
