Gosh, you lucky thing! That sounds absolutely perfect.

I know there are Badgers and Purple Emperors not far from where I live ... I just have to find them and that's the tricky part.

You are welcome to come round to mine in the summer if you want to sit in the garden and watch the Brown Hairstreaks.

Re: wish list

A golden eagle when we go up to Scotland in April would be good

Apart from that I'd quite like to see a dipper and/or a cuckoo, either in Scotland or wherever

I'd like to see a Red Squirrel in my Garden, but we all know that'll never happen!

Re: wish list

I would like to see some Otter spraints on the stones in the stream again, I used to see them a couple of years back. It would be good to see an Otter too. And some Polecats...

I'd love to see an Otter, too! I've only ever seen some 2 years ago, but they were at an Aquarium in Scarborough!

Re: wish list

Yes Greenish, I would love to see an Otter too, other people have seen them in the bigger river near here, but I think you have to be quite lucky to be there at the right time

I'd like to see one in it's natural habitat! At least you know where it's possible to find them near you!

I've only ever seen captive Otters. Last year we visited Greenwood forest adventure park in Caernarfon, North Wales and just the week before there were wild Otters visiting. Of course they were gone by the time I was there but I live in hope for the future.

I have never seen Otters of any type. My daughter saw Otters playing on the riverbank when she was sunbathing...little boys come and stay and see Adders basking It's probably luck when something amazing is sighted, although sometimes they are just waiting for you to go away before they come out

Re: wish list

I think Otters be another one for my wish list. Seen them years ago when I was up on Unst, Shetland playing (well fishing) in the sea. I'd love to see them again, there's a very happy feeling about them
