Ladybird Activities

We've got some ladybird actvities and other wildlife activities going on and to link to Jules Thread about School Holidays and not wanting to Hijack it.. I thought it maybe a good idea to have a thread to let parents and Kids know about vaious Activities going on in your area that others might like to go to..

Heres a couple to start with.. will add more at later date as and when i find any.

1) CREATIVE CLAY CREATURES...RIVERSIDE COUNTRY PARK RAINHAM, GILLINGHAM KENT
JULY 30TH 10.00AM - 12 NOON OR 1.30PM - 3.30PM
For accompanied children 5 - 12 yr old £2.50 per child

Bedfords Park, Romford, Essex. from here. A great Park (despite havering councils efforts lol) with great staff. The one downside is I mite be there helping out lol

Wed 25 Jul 1pm-3pm Family Nature Day: Summer pond dipping afternoon
Spend an afternoon pond dipping at Bedfords Park. Advance Booking and donation essential.
Donation: £4 per person

Thu 26 Jul 10.30am-3pm Wildlife Discovery Day: Flower Faries & Woodland Wizards
Wildlife themed day filled with lots of activities, games and crafts. Suitable for 7-11 year olds. ( 7 year olds must be accompanied by an adult) Advance booking and donation essential.
Donation: £8 per child

Fri 27 Jul 10am-12pm Family Nature Day: Butterfly Day
Spend the morning learning about butterflies at Bedfords Park by and joing in with fun activites and crafts.
Donation: £ 4 per person

Spend the afternoon learning about Butterflies by joining in with fun activities and crafts at Bedfords Park

Maybe it would be better and easier for people to remember if we only do things happening in the following week so it is being constantly updated throughout the Summer Holidays. A bit like the TV and Radio Forum

Heres a few events happening in kent

1) Pond Life Tuesday 7th August. For children 5 to12 years old
Four One hour sessions 10am, 11am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm
Capstone farm Country Park. £1 per child.

2) Marine day August 10th 12 noon till 3pm.
Riverside Country Park

3) Mini Beasts August 20th For children 5 to12 years old
10 am till noon or 1.30pm till 3.30pm
Riverside Country Park. £2.50 per child
