| | | Errant Mouse Actually it is not an errant mouse but an errant mouse pointer.
Why does my mouse pointer, on my laptop screen, seem to have a mind of its own? It keeps wandering across the screen on its own accord and if I try to pull it back its not having any of it. Can last up to maybe 10 seconds. |

| | | Re: Errant Mouse Is the mouse pointer behaving itself now? With all the writing you have been doing it hasn't been exactly overworked.

| | | Re: Errant Mouse If it's a virus or malware try a scan or a burst of spybot. If it's a dodgy driver, try reinstalling or if recently changed, maybe go back to a restore point - but back up important date first. |

| | | Re: Errant Mouse Cheers for that. Could well be an iffy driver as I had probs with my PCMA card and had to have it replaced recently. About the same time. Am running a program now and have quite a bit of spyware on my system so will have to delete it. Nice one |

The restore point may be the solution. Try microsoft's site for latest drivers too.
