Whistling

I like to whistle it gives me pleasure and the people around me tend to be more relaxed and smile more,I can also elicit replies from various birds ,even some
animals(I am no Percy Edwards however)
Does anyone else whistle or is it an arcane ritual now?

I'm a whistler at work.

I get tunes in my head going back years and i don't know where they come from......they just appear then i have to whistle them.

I get people from other areas at work coming in and asking me what that tune was and why was you whistling it?

Half the time i haven't got a clue what it was and sometimes i lose myself in it so much i don't realise i have been whistling.

Reminds me of a time when I was in Sarajevo HQ in Bosnia and I had a bet with some of the other lads that I could get one of our bosses to start whistling a tune without him knowing it.

I started it off by walking around the place whistling the same tune repeatedly for an hour or two. By lunchtime he was walking down the corridor with some of the foreign Generals merrily whistling the Teletubbies theme - a battle-hardened top-brass reduced to whistling kid's TV tunes
