movement monitoring shows they need green corridors(join the monitoring
scheme)some found within meters of Chesil Beach!!
Horseshoe Bats hanging on in the West as well, at Chesterton manor
Try google earth look at the green corridors linking woodlands in your
neck of the woods can you plant trees or shrubs to provide better corridors?

| | | Re: Heads Up saving planet earth Bats, Dormice, Barn Owls Yes i have watched all this and last week and groaned at the usual suspects and all the non british keystone species with the ooh and ahh factor...i was getting warmer with the albatross which we do get off our own shores ....but YES ! tonight were the regional specials...and me being a kentish lad got not only Beavers, Water Vole, Hazel Dormice and Adonis Blue and other endangered butterflies but most was filmed on and in conjunction with the Kent Wildlife Trust who i volunteer with and am on a work placement in the head office every week !...although they didnt mention the reserve that the Beavers were on i shall be finding out tomorrow as im out with them...as i would like a looksie myself !
Im wondering....clearly there will be an advert pretty soon saying " The BBC series saving planet earth is now available on a double dvd set" etc etc....i just hope and prey ALL the regional specials are put on as i would love to see what you other guys watched and vice versa? |
