Can anyone tell me where the smoking thread has gone to ? Has it been moved ? Course I may have just missed seeing it. |

Can't say I'm not sorry either, it seemed to bring up a lot of emotion and opinions through a post I'm not sure was genuine and on a subject not about wildlife. Glad to get back to 'wildlife' now!

Mark | I did brave the weather to take the dogs out but didn't even reach my destination. It was raining so hard my clothes looked like they'd just come out of the washing machine, without the spin.  . Storm came over and I was trying to shelter under a tree, me, 2 dogs and 2 of my children, not the safest place to be in a storm. Even the dogs were miserable  . |

Well u ask wether anyone has been out and i have tonight ( the day after u asked lol )and only had one quick flurry so was lucky really. I have taken some shots and just downloaded them and there is one bird i havent a clue what it is , not sure where to post it as i cant title it ?? any ideas ? sorry you got soaked Demi , better luck next time |

I would like to apologise for my behevier and swearing i have stoped it now as well as smoking.Agrumpycow i would like to apolgise for calling you a smart **** was bit stressed at the time, yes i know it was no excuse.
And boddie i`m not a wind up merchant, if i was i would`ve have made a lot of posts.
I`m still into wildlife and have finally ordered my bat detector.
I`m hoping you`ll forgive me and let me rejoin and let bi-gones be bi-gones and start a fresh.

you were also banned - you are right you didnt have to apologise - you also didnt have to come back at all.
Now, its not for me to say and i'll leave the final call up to the mods/admin but people who are banned are normally banned for good - and the fact that you've dragged this thread up again doesnt speak wonders for your good intentions.
i'm not going to get into an argument - after all this is exactly what feeding the trolls means.

I posted it in here because i wanted people who i offended to here me out and i knew that if i started a new thread that it might not have got read and might`ve been deleted same as my account.
And i agree it`s down to the mods/admins but i can`t see why they can`t let me back in, and if i offend people again or dissobey the rules ban me for good.
And like i said while i was banned from this forum i learnt my lesson.
And at the end of the day we`re all here to talk about wildlife.  |

I didn't see what the original thread said that caused all the problems, nor did I come across any of the other posts that led to people thinking Batman was a wind-up merchant, but it seems to me that the apology offered is pretty fulsome and sounds genuine. People make mistakes, and I think if they are brave enough and decent enough to volunteer an apology for what they did in the way this one has been done, a second chance might well be in order. If all Batman was interested in was to cause trouble there are plenty of other forums for him to go and mess with - the fact he is keen to come back to this one is a sign that he is genuinely wanting to play a part in it. A second and last chance seems fair to me.

I notice that his original identity is now active again so I presume that he has indeed been given a second chance.
