| | What`s the point of me living!!!!! nothing ever goes right for me.
I was @ college today and was looking on t net for animal sanctuaries,i then found the BLue Cross.
They need a Part Time welfare Assistant i thought yer i`ll go for that.
It was going all smovly letter was good cv was good.
I then just looked on the Stagecoach bus website to see if busses go to Burford, they go to witney, you then have ot get a separate bus from witney to burford.
I thought yes i might have the job i`ve always wanted. Then i look at thetop of the chart, and there it was the three letter word that has mucked it all up "No Sunday Service".
It does my head in so much nothing ever goes good for me, if i didn`t have my dog i would have topped me self by now.
And yes i have checked the other busses and routes no service. grrrrr |

It might still be worth your while enquiring about the job, another member of staff may be able to pick you up if they live in the same area.

If you want to do voluntry work try your local wildlife rescue centre, or Local Country park, Wildlife Trust.. All these rely heavily on volunteers to keep them running..Along with lots more places..
It takes many of us many years to be able to do a job we really love.. But if you really want it bad enough you will get there in the end.

And they said the reason we had to chop it down and put it back was for the butterfly eggs to hatch or something.
And i was thinking that was pointless because we had trappled over it (by accident) and how the hell can eggs survive that lol. |

| | | Re: What`s the point of me living!!!!! Good Luck. Let us know how you get on... But even if you dont get it, you can still offer to do a few hours a week as a volunteer, that will put you in a good postion should another job come up, as they will know you and of seen how commited you are.

| | | Re: What`s the point of me living!!!!! in general terms you cut the backthorn down to encourage a mix of habitats then stack it up in habitat piles for invertebrates to live in while the piles slowly rot down - if butterfly eggs were present they would be very small and it is very unlikely that you wouldhave squashed them all.
regarding the part time welfare assistant have you actually got the position or do you still have to be interviewd etc - Also I dont want to rain on your parade but you do realise that a welfare assistant spends most of there time cleaning out cages and moping up pee dont you
also i would really suggest thast you try to keep things in proportion - whether you get the job or not its a job , not the end of the world , some people have real problems and face much more adversity every day of their lives than not being able to get a bus to burford

I think you'll find thats a three word sentence, as opposed to a three letter word |

Half the battle in life is knowing what you want to do, so you are already up on many people of your age who have no idea in which direction they see themselves heading.
So with that in mind , get your form filled out and send it off asap!
And be positive, there’s always a way round problems that get you down ie. your good old dad!!
Anyway good luck and I’ve got my fingers crossed for you too!! Quote:

by reading up on your favourites
I like Bats, but did not know much about them, so I read,I asked questions on
this website,I joined a Bat Group I took whatever courses were on offer,I got
involved with wildlife trusts and found out more about other wild things
Although I had watched and seen loads of birds and animals it is nice to know
more about them you will know what you are dealing with when you go for that
interview

| | | Re: What`s the point of me living!!!!! Thing is, you haven't got the job yet. I don't mean to put a damper on everything, but you don't want to build your hopes up too much. Lol, ever the cynic I know, but if you build it all up too much and don't get the job, it's a pretty bad feeling. I know, I'd been applying since June last year and got nothing but rejections til April (when I finally got a seasonal ranger job). If I hadn't been working in a "tide-over" type job I think I'd have gone mad! but it is a blow to your confidence.
ANYWAY,
What I'm trying to say (not very well lol) is that you should just take one step at a time. Don't get too far ahead of yourself, there's always plenty time, and always an opportunity lurking round the corner. No Sunday service? No problem, you're Dad said he'd take you, someone also said about biking. You're 17, you can learn to drive if you so wish Things generally work out, but you've got to let them.
Good luck. I really, really hope you get this gig. It sounds awesome, and will be excellent to add to your CV. Plus iffen it's something you love, and feel passionately about, all the better! | | |
