I never know what to get for my dad. Trouble is, he seems to have just about everything he wants already.

Any good ideas would be much appreciated.

Just get the camera and explain to your old man that the joy that it'll give you should make him feel really good. Thats his present

I'm hoping for a Canon 600mm f4 lens - Oh no, that's just a dream. It'll be a CD or two then

whoops i was thinking of the long sigma, more like circa £6k for the canon

although frankly if i could lay out that sort of dosher on a lens (which aint likely in this lifetime) i'd be more inclined to go with the canon 400mm f2.8 wich is circa £5.5k or the 50mmm f4 which is a relative bargain at £4k

Re: What you getting or have got your father for fathers day?

I once bought my Father a Tie Pin never saw him wear it
but apparently he did everytime he went out(without me knowing)
and was extremely proud of it! parents are strange are they not?
I would go for an interesting watch,GPS Alarm,so you can find him
