Hello again

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry I haven't been around much, or at all really. I get antisocial patches, and just hit a big one. I'll be around a bit more now if I can ease myself back in gradually.
Thank you for all the PM's. It's much appreciated.
The Badgers send their love, as do the foxes. No babies seen yet, but the garden sounds like Longleat at night, so I know they're out there.
The garden is glorious, and we have honey bees in the roof. They moved in one day, as surreptitiously as smoke, but gave themselves away as smoke doesn't buzz! Now we can hear the house humming little tunes to itself, which feels as it should be.

Re: Hello again

Hey BW, good to have you back, it hasn't been the same without you! The anticipation of seeing your baby Badgers must be driving you to distraction, thank goodness for your bee's. Enjoy that wonderful garden of yours and if you can drag yourself away from it, see you round the forum .

Re: Hello again

Welcome back Badgerwatcher, you have been sorely missed.

I love the thought of your house humming little tunes to itself.

Re: Hello again

Hi badgerwatcher,

I took this last year about 3.00am one morning at a friends house, they bring their young to their garden each year and i believe that they are calling round now so it looks like i may have to have a late night again soon.

Re: Hello again

Thank you all very much. And great picture, Fixer. I'm longing to take some here. We are getting lots of adult Badgers, but I try not to disturb them too much. Also it's been a bit cold for sitting outside. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather.
The Badgers all look in extremely good health.
They are such clean animals.

Re: Hello again

My friend said they have been calling round for years and they trip the security lights so she then turns the lights out in the house and looks through the glass patio doors, i was only 4 feet away when i took this picture and what a marvellous sight i had.

Nice to see you back. I envy you your buzzing eaves - sounds like a real roses around the door scenario.

Re: Hello again

Thank you all. I'll try and catch up on what you've all been up to. It may take a while. We have butterflies and moths a-plenty. A bright red moth today, could have been a cinnabar, I think. Very beautiful. It flew too fast to catch up with.

Trailing behind everyone else again - I'm always last with the news. It's great to see you back. Make sure you catch up with Jeff's kingfisher thread - it's amazing.

I'm trailing and been missing too - glad to have you back and news of the amazing place where you live - that garden of yours must help you over the 'patches' . . .

Re: Hello again

Hi guys,
Yes, the garden certainly helps. It always makes me smile. I'll go and track down Jeff's kingfishers.
