| | | Re: Springwatch webcams These have been fantastic to watch over the last few days, while the rain just keeps on pouring down here in Sheffield.
Funny to watch the reaction of a squirrel when a GSW arrived at the mamal table, I could not believe what I saw, the squirrel jumped straight up in the air and landed on top of the GSW and they both just stood there looking at each other, and then carried on feeding.

Also thought tonite where Bill covered himself up and sat holding the branch until a Kingfisher landed on it was amazing (how lucky is he).
I will defo be checking in on their Web Cams over the weekend so i dont miss anything

| | | Re: Springwatch webcams hi there i built a web cam into a bird box and set it up in february after seeing a blue tit checking out one at work . unfortunately it was only held together with rubber bands and curtain hooks with a plastic lunchbox over the cam ,very basic. i used to check it regularly, but missed a day or so , but when the dog came in with a rather dishevelled looking bit of plastic , i realised that my "glencoewatch" days were over . i now have a safer project ,i fitted a cam to a bird table at the lochan ,where i'm working at the moment . the computer is safe in the boatshed for anyone to view . so far i've had plenty interest. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
