| | | Re: What Would You Be? I am sure that I have said this before, but many years ago I was actually asked this question at a job interview.
I had to go through a series of psychological tests before I was offered a job. When I was asked which animal I would like to be I answered without hesitation "seagull". I have no idea why I said this - it was a spur of the moment response.
On reflection - I would give the same answer again. I wonder what a psychologist would read into that? I think it is the idea of soaring above the waves - the freedom
BTW I got the job (with an airline).

Although not a british animal my hubby has always said he would be a sloth - sleep for 23hrs a day and get up only to eat, defecate and copulate I on the other hand would like to be a grand old oak tree - watching generations come and go, people and landscapes changing and being home to so many creatures

I have already decided to come back as a seg gull, lesser black-backed I think.
mainy because you can poo on nice shiney expensive saloons that have just been washed, you can steal ice cream from small children, your favourite food is rubbish which is everywhere so you're never hungry and you can fly to almost anywhere at the drop of a hat.
not really a hunted species, rarely on roads to be run over, no risk of being a mis-treated or neglected pet, nearly always surrounded by your mates who also act as defence, no mange though a slight risk of botulism and head caught in plastic can holder rings but otherwise a top species to be I reckon |

Being a Red Deer I could live in the highlands amongst some amazing scenary and in the spring have my own harem

| | | Re: What Would You Be? I'm torn between a bottle nosed dolphin, (probably cos my nose already looks like one ) and a kingfisher. I'd love the freedom of leaping around in and out of the water over the waves or just speeding my way down a river on a sunny day whilst having the odd dip for lunch. Tho looking at the pouring rain outside I'll go for dolphin, at least I wouldn't mind getting wet then. |

When ever you think of the sky and power you think of the eagal. I would be the king of the sky. Plus I would love to fly. |

| | | Re: What Would You Be? maybe an owl ( so I'd get some much needed wisdom)
or possibly a swallow ( fly of somewhere warm for the winter )
but probably a wasp ( drowning in a pint of lager in a beer
garden on a hot sunny day seems like the perfect way to go )
