I think the longest ever thread was either the world cup sweepstake one , the one about the wab calendar last year, or leons thread on plant growing -this thread is just a wee baby compared with those | isn't guess who the longest now? |

| | | Re: How did you get your username? Mine is a name I use on animal related boards. I had two oriental cats, Rose and Tod, my son called Tod 'Dog' so Dogrose came from their two names, sometimes I use the name Rose Todd as an alias on the net too. Plus I love dogroses, they are in flower around my birthday. |

| | | Re: How did you get your username? For some reason, I registered with this site straight away before investigating and seeing if members used their real names or nicknames, so I just gave my real name (it was given to me at a very early age, and seems to have stuck!).
If I had gone for a nickname, I'd have chosen 'Stick Insect' (except it's probably already been taken). No, I don't have any great affinity for these creatures, though my youngest brother had one as a child (he complains to this day that I had a pet cat, our other brother had a pet dog, and all he got was a stick insect!). It's just that a former colleague once memorably described me as having the figure of a stick insect with a beer gut! I was lumbered with the nickname 'Stick insect' or 'Stick' for ages afterwards, and still get called it occasionally.

| | | Re: How did you get your username? Mine comes from the Redfox comics (there were only ever 20) Zebethayal (not mentioned on the Wikipedia page) is the Demon Queen that Redfox turned into when she acquired her sword.
I liked the comics and the name though I usually mispell it without the first "a", The "demon queen" part is no reflection on my personal preferences (I am happily married with 2 children, though have nothing against anyone of a different persuasion )
It is suitably unique, I have never found the name in use anywhere I have tried to register, all the links I can find on Google for both spellings relate to me on one site or another.
The other name I occasionally use is Ozymandias (usually as Ozy) from the Watchmen graphic novel, which in turn is the Greek name for Ramases II - this one tends to be used whan supplying a name for high scores on games, etc.
Regards

It occured to me as a good anonymous email address to use a few years ago and has stuck.
My partner and friends just call me Rabbit | | | | |
