Interesting choice of name !!!! Certainly a more interesting one!

I discovered the word in my book on frogs/toads. I think its a lovely word for the rather amusing scrum the frogs get involved in. Once thats all done with I could look forward to my gentile Smooth Newts wafting gracefully in the pond. Have any of you watched them laying their eggs, I used to hang over my deep pond with a head torch on............... beats TV anytime. |

I seem to recall that usernames can only be changed by admin and that the practice is discouraged-due to workoad- unless there is a very good reason.
I think the longest ever thread was either the world cup sweepstake one , the one about the wab calendar last year, or leons thread on plant growing -this thread is just a wee baby compared with those

| | | Re: How did you get your username? Hello Jez,
How are things with you?, I was born and brought up in coventry, so i could say i,m a coventrian.
Been out busy checking my veg in tub,s the beans are out in flower, the sprouts are doing well, and the cucumber plant, even though i know nothing about them, seems ok too.
Just wish this weather would stay fine, so that the grass can get cut too.
There are plenty of frogs around this morning.
Chat soon, |

| | | Re: How did you get your username? Hiya coventrygal glad to know that you've been out checking on your crops. Just reached for my organic bible to see if there was ant tips on growing cucumbers but nothing i'm affraid. Nice to have the frogs in the garden today i bet they had a good slug feast last night. I have been out too pottering about and a banded demoiselle has made a visit. I haven't a pond since we have cats saying that though i do come across frogs from time to time and last autumn came across a newt under a small rock. So i left him be! Anyway i have plenty to be getting on with at the mo to consider making apond. Hope you get to mow your lawn today there could be rain today again. Summer will come! won't it? Might have go out and do a sun dance.
