You can get text coverage at BBC SPORT | Other sport... | Cycling - you miss the landscape and the cookery tips but get some funny comments!

It would only have been Barry Hoban but I don't think he did two consecutive wins .....

Re: Cycling - road racing

Only two more days in the mountains. Today's profile looks seriously scarey!
Tour de France 2008

Cavendish gone home - but what potential for future years when he could hope to finish the course.

... and, as usual, on Eurosport so, for the first time ever, I have to make a choice - which adverts are least annoying?

Re: Cycling - road racing

Been going up the Alpe d'Huez for about ten minutes now. Less than fourteen kilometres - easy-peasy! After that just a quiet pedal back to Paris ...

Re: Cycling - road racing

Brilliant race today! Looks like it's going to all come down to the time-trial on Saturday!

Really enjoyed watching it live today - as always, the scenery in the Alps was just stunning. To climb THREE huge mountains required superhuman effort from all the riders.

Paul

Have you never fancied this?

L'Eroica - Cicloturistica d'epoca su strade bianche

When I worked for Brooks saddles we sponsored this and I attended twice riding a vintage Bianchi.

We took Richard Hallett, from road cycling UK, who finished the gruelling 200K of strade bianche.

It was a fantastic weekend and I can thoroughly recommend it

The Vuelta coverage on-line this year is quite neat: Web Oficial de la Vuelta a Espaņa 2008 - Official Web Site Vuelta a Espaņa 2008

Re: Cycling - road racing

Whether I fancy it and whether I could still do it are different matters!
Incidentally, your link is dead but it can be reached through
"L'EROICA", cicloturistica d'epoca su strade prevalentemente sterrate
