Don't know about everyone else but I absolutely love Spring. Signs of new life are everywhere, it's an amazing time.
We took a walk around a wildlife reserve near to us and there was an abundance of new life
. Young geese, coots and Moor hens were all finding their feet. The tadpoles were getting bigger but no signs of any legs yet
. Walking past the small pond I spotted a spider rushing about carrying her egg sac. From the small to the large they all seem preocupied with their young, an amazing time.
These Roman Geese were released here a while ago, probably by someone who didn't want them anymore. They've certainly made themselves at home and their babies have attracted alot of attention.
This gosling has found something interesting in the grass.
These Canada geese have been very busy indeed, hissing at anything that wanders past
they do a good job with their little ones.
The Coots were doing their best to hide, so these are not the best pics but at least them babies are safe.
