It is an easy wine to make and has good body so is useful to add to less robust wines,No it does not taste of banana!
My particular wine favourite is Shiraz or Syrah or Sirah. Petite Sirah by Boulders is in my opinion excellent
Blackberry wine is my favourite homemade but I am always torn between leaving them for the wildlife,eating them off the bramble,in pies ,with icecream
or three pounds to make 5ltrsof wine, the wine usualy wins!

although, my grandad died last year and ive aquired a wine making kit, so was going to give it a go at some point, does anyone know where i can get recipes (maybe some simple ones to start with).

| | | Re: Who makes Homemade Wine and enjoys it My Mum used to make an Elderflower champagne. A sort of fizzy slightly alcoholic drink with lemmon juce and sugar it was realy nice if you like Elderflower.
I have thought about making wine but if its like the larger I used to make I'l give it a miss. |
