| | | BIOTA - Credit where credits duen't? I always believe in applauding good service and feel folk dont always share such stories. I'll keep this one simple and down to the bare facts.
On 14th April I ordered, from BIOTA, a moth trap.
On the 30th I enquired as to where it was, as nobody had shown me the courtesy of contact. I had a reply telling me that the proprietor, I guess, had been in Spain and the order would be 'processed shortly'.
To this date I have still to receive my order.
My credit card has been billed, so Biota have my money.
I have already missed use of this trap over at least two weekends away, including the Bank Holiday.
The mothing season is now nearing full swing and I am still without a trap.
So, in summary,a month after placing my order with BIOTA I stll have no trap.
Marvellous.
p.s. BIOTA are also known as BIOQUIP. |

They have had my money since 23rd of April.
I guess you can draw your own conclusions |

| | | Re: BIOTA - Credit where credits duen't? 10 days still nothing. I wrote to this guy, by email, on the 24th, and its simply been ignored.
33 days they have had my money, which surely they should not have taken if they did not own the item that they were advertising? This is scandalous
Oh, and what joy
I have just seen this message on Biot'a home page Orders received between 22nd May
and 3rd June will be processed after 4th June
Presumably this means they are on holiday again?
So maybe I can't expect anything until June 4th now |

| | | Re: BIOTA - Credit where credits duen't? Still nothing from Biota, so despite his assurances of the 16th (2 weeks ago) that he would refund, he has neglected to do so.
I find that disgusting. He took my money quick enough but is in no hurry to refund me.
Companies like Biota should not be allowed to trade |

I have kept all information strictly factual and have online statements to back everything up. I know he attends exhibitions Dai, so I could always attend his next one and point things out to his potential customers.
I am sick of getting tucked up and feel I want to make a stand on this one.
£125 is a lot of money to some people. Not everybody has the luxury of just being able to order another in the way I have. It'll soon be half the season gone, and he has cerainly cost me a couple of bank holidays |
