| | | Warblery type ID please Hi all, could someone ID these 2 for me please? I have looked in the gallery, but they seem to be any one of a few warblery types. Both were found in Dorset, there seemed to be one singing in every tree.
Thanks again,

| | | Re: Warblery type ID please I'm not sure which species, but I think they are either Chiffchaffs or Willow Warblers, but I can't tell the two apart! I don't know whether you heard them singing, but if it was just a chiff-chaff chiff-chaff call then I think you can guess which one it was! If it was a nice warbling song then it would be a Willow Warbler.

These 2 warblers are always an ID challenge and I have to say I always rely on the songs which are very helpfully very distinctive.

| | | Re: Warblery type ID please I'd hazard a guess at Willow, purely because you didn't comment on the repetitive nature of the song. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
