I have chosen this forum to post this message to because I think it will be of genuine interest to you.

We have started a national campaign called www.supportbritain.com It's aims are to help British Manufacturing and Farming businesses in the UK.


Part of our campaign aims at the Green effects of buying British "it takes 3000 units of Carbon to get a sheep from New Zealand to the UK, but only 30 units of Carbon to rear the same sheep in the UK!"

Please help to support us by visiting our site for a look around. We need as much support as possible to make this work.

Hello to all of you,

Thanks very much for your continued comments about this campaign. In Febuary we had over 9000 visitors to our site which is an amazing number!

We do always need help though, what we need to make this work is new members and as you are making supportive comments I hoped that I may be able to talk some of you into joining up.

Talking about it on the internet is very positive indeed and has a great effect on the numbers of people looking at the site but without enough members it will be very difficult to make things positive happen.

Thanks very much for e-mailing me your feedabck. I am happy to announce that we will be adding a new type of membership to the Support Britain campaign.

At the moment you are required to be a company in order to join, this membership costs £24 per year.

We have had a number of e-mails suggesting that they are people who just want to help and become a supporting member.

So we are going to add an 'individual' membership for those people. The cost will be £10 per year, and this type of membership will come with it's own seperate benefits.

I will send a very quick e-mail out to this group when this feature is live.

Please take another look at our site to remind yourself of what it is we are doing, and please consider joining and helping to Support Britain!

Hello,

I am very pleased to announce that at www.supportbritain.com we can now accept membership from individual people not just companies.

The cost of this type of membership is £10 per year! and I am very pleased to say that any new members we get in the next 7 days we will give £2 per new user to WAB.

This is where we really need help to start running, please help us by joining (it is only £10 per year!)

If you have any feedback about the changes made to the site please let us know so that we can keep on top of our members requirements.

Hello again everyone.

Just to let you know. The 7 day £2 per new member offer will end at midnight tonight.

So at the moment, we will be giving £6 to the Wild About Britain charity.
