Re: Japanese Poodle Scam!!

I'd try to make a joke about a wolf in sheep's clothing but I'm not that clever...

Re: Japanese Poodle Scam!!

I think it's another case of animals being mistreated. There's no regard for the animals wellbeing or thought of what will happen to it later when the owner finds out. I find it strange that many Japanese don't even know what a sheep looks like and what's even more worrying, they obviously don't know what a poodle looks like. Whatever happened to researching a breed before you buy?

I agree, on the surface it's hillarious but it's tragic too. Hope the poodle-sheep are being looked after and being fed grass now not pedigree chum.
There's a celeb craze for pink Rabbits at the moment too

Re: Japanese Poodle Scam!!

The pink Rabbits are a disgrace too. I don't understand why people have to mess with nature. They could always try painting themselves .

Re: Japanese Poodle Scam!!

The celebs that start these 'cute pet' crazes have a lot to answer for. The RSPCA announced record numbers of unwanted animals recently, lots of being small dogs.

About time for licenses for pet owners and a decent vetting process.

Re: Japanese Poodle Scam!!

How can they have been made to believe that they were getting a poodle? Surely some of te owners had seen a dog before?

Yep, but never a sheep so they must have thought poodles go "baa" and have hooves!
