| | | Cuckoo, Cuckoo, Cuckoo In the garden i knowingly heard my first cuckoo this afternoon ( by that i mean i may have heard them but not noticed yet). Right after spotting some cuckoo flower in flower while watching a pair of orange tip butterlies which seem to have hatched this week or two which i think feed on this flower and also spotting the cuckoo pint (lord and ladies)flower is on its way up....hmmm...is there a connection to all this? lol |

| | | Re: Cuckoo, Cuckoo, Cuckoo I heard one and then later saw 2 together at my local patch this morning. Fortunately this is still a reliable site to find them each spring/summer.

| | | Re: Cuckoo, Cuckoo, Cuckoo I was at the Wyre Forest this morning and a Cuckoo was continually calling nearby. Each time I tried to move closer it seemed to move away. Finally I gave up, walked to another area of the Wyre Forest and the blooming thing flew over my head.
