Just had a glance at a two volume set, Birds of the Western Palearctic,
snow and perris,my acquisitive nature kicked in but I cannot find a reasonably priced set any ideas please

Sometimes see Bird or other Wildlife books in remainder shops. Usually, I think, when a new edition is about to be published.

I paid around £50 for the concise BWP. I'd now go for the BWPi, its got all the text and plates of the full volumes, plus photo's, sound and video clips. The only downside is the price at £140.
