Help please, for a new member

Hi, I have told my Dad about this site and he has gone through the registration process, got nickname etc, but the activation e.mail has not gone to his address (which has been confirmed as correct). On trying again to register with a different name, a message keeps coming up saying he has not answered the spam question correctly. We dont know what this means, as I never had a problem joining the site. He can get into the site, but would like to post threads etc. Please help us!!!!!! Thankyou to anyone who replies!!

Is the activation email in his 'junk/spam' folder, a lot of IPSs do this is it doesn't recognise the address. As far as I know the spam question is the bit where you have to copy the figure and characters shown. Maybe he typed it in wrong or not at all.

I'm no expert, just had quite a lot of personal experience of this type of problem

Have checked the junk folder, its not there either.!! If the spam question was wrong, how did he end up in the online list??? Its really annoying hehe.! Cant work it out at all. Thanks for replying........

As he is listed as online it must be ok as he is signed in.Get him to try posting a hello in the treehouse forum and introduce himself.If it works then he must be ok to post.If he tries using a different name with the same email address then they will think he is a spammer.You can only have one account under your email address
