What's a v card? on my user profile it says I can download one, but do I need one or even want one?  For those laughing at me - stop it , I'm not a technical person but I am sensitive  |

I'm not sure what it stands for but if you download it I think it gives any contact details about the user that the user has given. For example if you click on my name and then click download v card it should give you my email address and any other contact details I have given.

Guy | Oh, that's interesting. I had no idea what it was. However, I did not know that private email addresses were included in there. I suspect that most other forum members did not know either since I have often seen people say "PM me with your email address"!
Not sure if I like my email address being freely available

you can disable your v card download if you want- the option is in user cp somewhere (either opyions or settings I think)

Select EDIT OPTIONS
The untick the first box which says Allow vCard Download |
