I just wondered if there is any way, any button I could press, that would enable me, when viewing a catagory in the gallery, to change it from the film strip to a whole screen of images spread out at once?

Hi Badgerwatcher,
Not quite sure where you're looking when you only see the filmstrip, but if you click on a category from the gallery's frontpage you should get a page like this one for caterpillars - http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/ga...23-albums.html
Above the images their should be something like a '30 images per page' link, you can clikc on this to select more images to show per page in this category.
