Re-post identified pics?

What is the correct procedure for correctly locating a picture initially posted as 'unidentified' once it has been identified?
I understand that pics can't be moved because of broken links. Should they be re-posted? Actually, I thought I had done this, but they seem to have gone missing.

a lot of mine have been duplicated into the appropriate gallery , i presume by the eds or mods

They can be moved without breaking the link. You don't have to reload them. If you want any re-named and moved, let us know and we'll do it for you.

Ok, thanks. I have formed the impression that there is no set procedure. Eeyore has confirmed for me that I have not imagined the movement of some of my earlier ones, but it has not continued.

It could simply be that they've been missed! If you'd like to send me a PM of the ones that the id has been confirmed, I'll move them for you.

Well, thanks, but it turns out to be too long-winded to try and find which have been correctly posted and which have not, particularly since some have disappeared altogether. I will just re-post a few which are otherwise not well represented in the gallery.
