Posting to multi page threads

Don't know if this happens for others, but if I post to a multi-page thread (say 4 pages) where I have quoted from the last page, when I post, I am take back to the start of the thread on the first page, not to the end of the thread where my post goes.

That's happened to me, too .... and also I have found that when I click on the 'last post' icon in the forum threads index, I very often get directed to the first post in the thread, not the last ....
